In that location'south a big sale correct now for both platforms, and I'k considering jumping aboard, most likely on Switch. (I accept it on PS4 already, but I gave up on Plus.)

Does the Switch version play every bit well as the others? It seemed alright since I played the Switch beta, but that was a long fourth dimension ago.

Switch version has some extra loading in it but otherwise it's a solid version. I double dipped, and I bought all my dlc on the Switch solely cause it's portable.

FighterZ averaged 1.3k players in the last 30 days on PC.

PC is fine, Switch is dead.

Shity netcode = shitty playerbase.

I play regularly on PC. Information technology's fine. Takes me around 2min to detect a histrion for ranked with 4or+/5 bars. Alive in SW Europe. Netcode could exist ameliorate overall though.

Switch version does not play also as the others, and it has a dead thespian base. Get it on PC of the two options, but PS4 has the biggest role player base.

Thanks for the replies. I'm yet undecided, simply PC might be the way to go. Though, with how indecisive I've been lately, I might only not bother. I just kinda got hyped for the sale to be honest.

I recommend it on pc, the playerbase is healthy enough, unironically pc is potent plataform for fighting games

I literally can't even get online with the Switch version.

The loading screens are incredibly bad.
Particularly if you are planning on playing a few matches, placing the console on standby and jumping back in for some quick matches.
It boots y'all back to the main screen and takes forever to load annihilation, it's a terrible feel.

Ugh. The load time scare again. Switch, right? I already hated the lobby system in FighterZ, then that just makes it worse. I quit playing Crash Team Racing on Switch considering of load times.

So yeah, PC is definitely the selection then. Thankfully, the Steam sale doesn't stop until January. 2, so I accept plenty of time to make my final determination.

That's good to hear. I did purchase a gaming laptop for the expanded purpose of playing some fighting games. I just haven't gotten around to playing games on information technology yet.

PC is probably the safest phone call by far. It'due south still pretty populated and the worst case scenario you can always look on Discord. I don't actually accept much conviction you'll take as many people both online or Discord on Switch.

I bought the PC and then the Switch version later. Defo go with the PC version. Switch version plays great but the users dice quickly. At the moment information technology has a scrap of a resurgence considering a new graphic symbol released only in the UK lobbies it was not unsual to come across only 2 or 3 other people online in the evening (only the UK lobby, apparently the matchmaking searches more than that).

From what I tin tell, the simply things y'all benefit from for the Switch version are early releases for DLC characters & portability. Otherwise, merely get the PC version.

Picked upwards the Switch version on that sale a few days ago and it looks similar at that place'due south a decent number of people playing when I've logged in. Performance is definitely iffy though. I've mostly simply been messing effectually in practice manner and even just there I'm getting weird hitches during play. At one point the game but kind of froze for what seemed like half a second while I was practicing.

Game runs keen on Switch and yous volition be able to play someone online, one time in while. If playing online is your main focus, go with any other version.
